Another Great Girl Scout Time!

What a great time today! We worked on projects for the Girl Scouts world-wide "World Thinking Day 2012". We talked about how we're connected to nature, and made a collage of the ways we are connected to the world. We also listened to and discussed a story about using resources wisely. All of this helped us earn our "World Thinking Day 2012" badge to wear proudly! (We'll give them out next meeting.)

I didn't get to giving out the fun patches for the girls who went to the Wehr Nature Center event or the Petit Center this meeting, so next meeting we'll have to have an entire patch ceremony.
Other than the 100th anniversary event, there's not a whole lot going on in March, so if you know of anything the girls would enjoy, please share! Spring is in the air, and if we keep getting nice weather like this, it could be a great month for the girls to do something together.

There are a handful of events in April. Unfortunately when I checked the registration deadline for the Little House on the Prairie Days, they had been closed since November. The rest of the events don't have to worry about registration deadlines until April 10th at the earliest, and most don't require pre-registration at all. If there are any that really jump out at you, let me know, and we'll make those a priority.

Thanks again,

Aleks
