2012 Troop 8035 Daisy Jamboree Schedule!
Ok everyone, here's the tentative timeline and schedule for the first ever troop 8035 Jamboree! I expect there'll be some time shuffling as the event goes on, since, well, it's our first time. But this should be the gist of it.
Before that though, the Sign-Up list is available now, so if you want to sign up to bring something we need, please check it out here:

Schedule
Saturday 6-9
3:00-3:30 Setup
3:30-5:00 Woodland scavenger hunt
We'll split into teams and search the park in a nature scavenger hunt. A grown-up will get the fire (fires?) going in the meantime so we can get back and start dinner. There'll be prizes for the first team to complete their list.
5:00-6:00 Campfire dinner & make ice cream
We'll cook our hot dogs on the fire, and eat some dinner. When we're done, we'll make our own ice cream!
6:00-6:30 Graduation
We'll get our 1-year Daisy Stars, and recite the Girl Scout promise. If any girls want to share what they've liked best about Girl Scouts this year they can do that too.
6:30-7:30 Rock painting
We'll paint rocks we find in the park, to help remember our day.
7:30-8:30 sing & marshmallows & popcorn
We'll fire up the fires again, roast marshmallows and cook some popcorn. We'll all learn new (and old) Girl Scout songs around the fire!
8:30-9:00 Clean up
We'll clean up outside, to be good scouts.
9:00-9:30 Stories and fingernail painting
We'll bring it inside to paint toenails and tell stories.
10:00 Bed
We'll take it to our beds, or tents, or sleeping bags, and see if we can get some sleep.
Sunday 6-10
7:30-8:30 Wake up, and morning hike
We'll wake up, and get ready for the day by seeing the morning birds and sunshine on a walk through the park while a grown up gets the fire ready to cook breakfast.
8:30-9:30 Eat
We'll eat eggs, pancakes, and bacon cooked on a fire!
9:30-10:00 Pack
We'll pack it up, and make sure the site is Girl Scout clean!
10:00-11:00 Clean up and play in the park
Finish up cleaning and play in one of the great playgrounds nearby in Whitnall.

Fun Hunt
Every other week, (time and date to be determined) we’ll set co-ordinates of a park in the area for the girls to play at. Find the park, and find the fun! (For example: N42.9365 Latitude, W87.9892 Longitude would get us to Scout Lake Park!)
