First, the big news:
Troop 8035 has reserved Ross Lodge in Whitnall Park from 3:00PM Saturday June 9th through 11:00 AM Sunday June 10th. Girls (and their families) are welcome to come that afternoon and stay as long as they like. In the afternoon we’ll be playing games, and hiking through the park. We’ll roast our dinner on the fire and have our Daisy Scout first year graduation in the evening. At night we’ll roast marshmallows and s’mores over the fire and learn girl scout songs. Girls and parents can stay overnight for a camp-out in the lodge if they want, or go home for the evening. In the morning the campers will cook our breakfast over the fire, and play on one of the great playgrounds at the park. Kids Bowl Free
We can pick a Bowling Alley and register for the girls to bowl free. Visit http://www.kidsbowlfree.com to see which lanes are available. Once we pick a location we can all register and set dates and times.
Fun Hunt
Every other week, (time and date to be determined) we’ll set co-ordinates of a park in the area for the girls to play at. Find the park, and find the fun! (For example: N42.9365 Latitude, W87.9892 Longitude would get us to Scout Lake Park!)
