September Meeting Recap and Announcements

Hello again!

We had a great September meeting!

We:

Chose a troop name (Rock Star Girls)
Made up a troop cheer
Started planning our park clean-up
Made posters for our park clean-up

Everyone seemed to have a good time, and are excited about our next meeting.

Announcements for parents:

#1) Since we started planning our park clean-up, we'll have to pick a time for it. It turns out there's no soccer game on the 13th, so I think that makes it a great day for the park clean-up.  We can roll the time a bit earlier, to 1:00, and with luck have some great sun and weather!

#2) Thanks to everyone who has signed up to be a helper volunteer or a snack helper this year! I really appreciate it. If you're still interested, I think there are snack spots open on the sign up page that's linked to the website. ( http://www.greendaledaisies.blogspot.com )

#3) Remember our next meeting is the second Tuesday of October, which is next Tuesday! As always, I'll send home a sheet on Monday.
