1) Don't forget the meeting this Thursday for girls who didn't go to College Park the first week in May. This meeting is at Highland View, in our regular location. If you're not on the SignUp Genius page, and didn't send in a permission slip, please let me know whether to expect you or not!
2) Early Bird Registration for Girl Scouts is on right now! If we can get 80% of our girls re-registered for next year before June 11th, we have a chance to win a 2-night stay at any of the Girl Scout properties next year. So let's see if we can do it! 3) Next week has a lot coming up too. Thursday June 5th, we have our last meeting of the year. We'll be in Mrs. Bushman's room, but we'll be watching a movie, eating ice cream, and playing games outside to celebrate another great year. We'll also be celebrating the "graduation" of our 3rd grade scouts from Brownie to Junior (Green). (So I hope all our 3rd graders can be there!)
And of course that Friday will be the first day of our first Troop Campout this year! In addition to having a ton of fun, making an oven out of a cardboard box, and a stovetop out of a tin can, we'll also be earning our insect and first aid triangles! BUT, since Ms. Kelly can't make it, it looks like I only have one other parent signed up for the night of the 6th-7th. Kathleen can make it late that evening too, but it would be super, incredibly, amazingly, helpful if another parent could join us for the time after school until bedtime that night (or overnight if you can!)
I'm finishing up the specific timeline, and will get that out to everyone signed up for this first campout weekend ASAP.
