Girl Scouts: Happy New Year! So much to do in January!

Hello Everyone!

I hope you had an awesome break. January has a few big Girl Scout things going on.  Here's what you need to know!

1)  Meetings.

As always, sign up for the meeting your scout will attend.  If a meeting is full, I can open it up to more scouts if we get more parents to help out.  And make sure to write a note on the appropriate day in your scout's agenda.  Last month we had a couple big saves because of properly marked agendas!  (Girls forgot they were going to scouts, but since it was in the agenda, they were able to figure out where to go!)

2)  Cookie Kick Off.

It's almost Cookie Time!  That means it's time for the Third Annual Cookie Kick Off Party!  Join scouts from all across Greendale playing cookie games, learning cookie songs, doing cookie crafts, and sampling all the Cookie flavors.  January 15th, 6:30-8:00.  Sign Up here to help me plan supplies:

3)  Humane Society Trips.

Hopefully you remember these!  We had to sign up and register earlier in the year because these filled up fast.  Here's who I have registered for each trip.  We'll need 1-2 more adults at each one, so if you can drive a couple scouts, and join us, that would be great! If you DID forget about signing up for this, and now can't go, let me know ASAP, and I can try to get someone to fill your spot.  (I bet there'll be someone--this sounds fun!)

WI Humane Society Program 6:00-7:45PM 

Wisconsin Humane Society Milwaukee Branch  

Go behind the scenes at the Humane Society of Wisconsin.  Interact with cats and kittens, and make a cat toy to take home.  Learn about dogs and dog training in "Dog Town!"
