3)  Camp Rules and Reminders:
· Remember the Girl Scout Promise and Law*
· Leave camp better than you found it.  Clean up after ourselves.
· No alcohol at camp—it will result in the dismissal of the entire troop.
· All campers MUST wear tennis shoes and socks.  Flip flops are ONLY allowed at the waterfront during a swimming session.
· Everyone is encouraged to bring refillable water bottles.  There will be water stations around camp for refilling.
· Sunscreen, hats, and bug spray are encouraged.
· Bring a towel, and swimsuit if your scout plans on swimming.  It's also handy to bring a plastic bag to put the wet towel and swimsuit in afterwards.
· Hair MUST be tied back around the campfires.  All campers must have feet on the ground around the fire ring.  (No walking on benches, or cartwheels around the fire!)
· There is no running around camp except during approved activities—there are many natural hazards that can cause injury.  (Roots, vines, rocks, animal holes, etc.)
· In the event of lightning, seek shelter IMMEDIATELY.  It is safe to return outside 30 minutes after the last visible lightning is seen.
· Do not bring valuable items to camp.  GSWISE, Green Corners, and Girl Scouts are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

After we're done tie-dying our shirts, we may choose to leave them in zip-loc bags at the tie-dying station.  Remember to pick them up at the end of the night!

Speaking of tie-dying:  PLEASE pre-tie your t-shirts with rubber bands.  This saves a lot of time and trouble at the tie-dye station.  Luckily our troop is doing tie-dying first, so we won't have to carry the shirts around too long.  I'll send home rubber bands and zip-loc bags with the t-shirts the first week of school.

If your scout wants to try some fancy tie-dye paterns, feel free to try the ideas here:  http://www.wikihow.com/Tie-Dye-a-Shirt
