Girl Scouts: Nut Sale Forms, Upcoming Events, and a Request

Hi everyone!

1)  Some of you have asked how to get Nut Sale forms to me this weekend.  You can drop them off by our house (4256 Teakwood Ct. Greendale, WI 53129) Since no money is due yet, I'll leave a box on the front porch in case we're not home that you can put the forms in--just make sure to cover it back up so nothing blows away if it gets windy!

2)  Upcoming events:  While there's nothing coming up this week, there are a couple things that I would need you to register for ASAP if you're interested in going.  I've included a list, and who I have already registered.  You can find more details at our schedule here.

November 18th:
2-3 Grade Computer Expert (at Discovery World)
Evie S.
Olivia Ka. (2nd Grade Olivia)
Lia S.
Dea S.
Kailee A.

November 18th:
4th Grade Junior Botanist (Flower Badge) (at Discovery World)
Gabby H. (4th)
Adrhia F. (4th)

November 22nd:
Girl Scouts Giving Back 12:30-3:00 Trefoil Oaks Girl Scout Center, Kenosha
"Be a philanthropist and change the world. Meet rescue animals and take action by making toys and treats to donate to our animal friends."
Kendra P.
Lia S.
Evie S.
Officially this is for grades 2-3.  If there is a 4th grade Junior who is interested, I bet we could sneak her in!

December 12-13:
Cookie CEO Overnight Adventure (Any grades, 2-5)
Pitch your idea for the largest girl-led business in the world to GSWISE CEO Christy Brown. Train for the cookie season by creating a new cookie, design and shoot a commercial and shape up your sales pitch through theater games and activities. Overnight includes a self-guided cookie contraption challenge. Includes breakfast.
Evie S.
Lia S.
Kelly D.

3)  I have one request for everyone.  During the week before an event I send out the list of who I have registered.  Please read that list, even if you don't remember signing your scout up.  Sometimes we have to register far ahead of time, and believe me, I know how easy it is to overlook something on the calendar.  I don't mind cancellations during the week before the event--I can usually find someone to fill it, but I hate leaving a spot open that some girl could have used.

Thanks a million!

Aleks Skibicki
