Girl Scouts: Earth Day, Meeting, Summer/Silver Proposal?

Hi everyone!

Just a couple quick notes:

1)  Earth Day event Saturday!  I checked with the Urban Ecology Center and it's still on!  We'll meet up there at 9:00, OR, if Kathleen and I are driving your scout, please bring her to our house at 8:30.  Riverside Park address:  1500 E. Park Pl.  Milwaukee, WI 53211  If we are driving your scout, expect us to be back around 12:30-1:00.

WEAR/BRING MUD GEAR!  Depending on the weather there are a bunch of different possible projects for us, and many of them involved getting muddy.

• The girls will be starting the Journey they picked last month (ME-dia!)
  
• We'll hear a proposal from the Greendale health Department on an idea for a BIG project for our scouts.
  
• As usual, we'll cook our own snack--once again, bring a microwave-safe coffee mug!
  
• If weather is good, we'll also do our traditional Earth-Day school-clean up around GMS and downtown Greendale.
