Hi everyone!
Since planning has to keep moving forward, I'm going to base initial plans for the trip around the numbers on the "Interested and Available" sign up list as of Saturday night 9/24/2016. I'll use that as numbers for considering things like how many hotel rooms we'd need, transportation, etc. and then use that to figure out things like costs, and how many cookies and nuts we have to sell to get the costs to specific points.
If you're not on the list as of Saturday night, I'll assume your scout is either not interested, or not available that week. Keep in mind, this list is not a "You're locked in and have to go!" list. It's merely a list to indicate that your scout is interested in taking a trip to Washington DC with the rest of the troop, and is available that week to go with the rest of the scouts. If your scout doesn't even want to go, or isn't going to be available that week, then we won't even start to worry about transportation or hotel space for her, and that'll keep the numbers a lot more accurate.
(We will get to the "You're locked in and have to go!" sign up pretty soon though. If you want to get to that list when it comes, make sure you're on this one.)
