Girl Scouts: Wave Night Packing List, and any tents?

Hi everyone!

Just a few notes for scouts sleeping over with the Wave Scout night Saturday/Sunday.

#1)  The soccer field is laid out over an ice hockey rink, so the ground gets COLD at night.  So, feel free to send along extra insulating layers for beneath your scout (extra blankets, air mattresses, foam cushions, etc.

#2)  Packing:  Pajamas, any toiletries, the usual stuff for a single overnight.  Nothing really special is needed.

#3)  Does anyone have an extra easy-to-pop-up tent that doesn't require any staking in the ground?  We can't pound anything in the ground for obvious reasons, but we can set up tents to sleep in on the field.  Our family has 2, but 1-2 more would be great to help spread the girls out a bit. (Kathleen and I will have one tent, and we'll spread the 7 girls out between 2-3 tents)

#4)  Food:  There are concessions at the game, and girls sleeping over will get a coupon for a small popcorn and soda.  Depending on how hungry a girl is, you can decide how much to send for food.  $10 would be more than enough, for sure.

#5)  Remember, meet at our house on Saturday at 5:00, and pick your scout up at our house at 9:00 on Sunday (unless you're dropping your scout off/picking them up at the game, but I think this is only Lauren so far, right?)

That's all for now!  See you Saturday!
