Apple Cider, Apple Butter, Apple Treats, Music and a scenic walk.
$2 per person admission, $3 per car parking
(Some of our girls have soccer, and I’ll be coaching from
1:00-2:30, but this is still a fun event for those who can go!)
One Day Between 10/16 and 10/19th (We’ll have to pick—tickets go on sale 9/23, so we’ll pick before
then!)
Halloween Haunt at Wehr Nature Center
This was also something the girls seemed to enjoy last
year. So repeating it probably isn’t
the worst idea in the world. It’s a
nighttime hike through the woods filled with TONS of lit jack-o-lanterns and
fun educational costumed characters.
$7 per scout, Free parking
They limit each purchaser to 15 tickets, so I’d have to have
someone else buy tickets too if more than that want to go.

Bay View Park Beach Cleanup
2nd Thursday of May 6:30-8:00PM
Bay View Park Beach
This was my personal favorite activity last year. It’s relaxing and restful, with the sound of
the lake waves rolling in while you stroll the beach and collect bags of
trash. Possibly the best service
project ever. A local pizza place gave
us pizza afterwards, though I don’t know if that’s always the case.
