Bronze Award Proposal B

One way we could help get more kids to wear bike helmets is:

Teach kids about the dangers of not wearing helmets

These are the steps we would take to do it:

1)  Research the dangers of not wearing helmets
2)  Make posters
3)  Talk to people about bike safety, and find people to help us
4)  Find places to put up our posters
5)  Put up the posters
6)  Get permission to have a safety booth somewhere
7)  Set up and staff the booth with information about bike helmet safety.

We would need these supplies:

Markers, paper, glue, pencils, table, booth supplies, copies (for flyers and information pamphlets.)

We could work with these other community groups, businesses, or individuals:

Walmart, Target, Hospitals, Schools, Safety Center, Police, Fire departments
