Girl Scouts who completed the Bronze Project last June: Save the date!

Hi everyone,

In addition to all the great stuff that was part of the Bronze project (learning life skills, connecting with the community, making Greendale a safer place, etc.) one of the perks to completing our Girl Scout Bronze project was the invitation to the "Highest Awards in Scouting" celebration this year.

Girl Scouts has now set the date, and while formal invitations will be coming later (this is a big deal!) here are the details you can lock in for now.  It'll be the evening of May 21st (no specfic times announced yet) and Girl Scouts in our area that completed their Gold, Silver, or Bronze award in the previous year will be honored.  It'll be at the MATC Downtown Campus Cooley Theater.

The girls did a lot of work on this last year, whether it was meeting with the Police and Fire departments, researching bike safety in Wisconsin, contacting businesses for sponsorship and donations, and then spending their day at the safety event in Downtown Greendale, so they've earned this recognition.  I hope many of you can make it.
